I adored the attention to detail in my room and the very nice hospitality from Hiram and Matthew. My stay at Fire Mountain Resort was truly wonderful, highlighted by the stunning views and the intimate atmosphere. The breakfast was always delicious and varied, although I wish I had made a dinner reservation to enjoy Mathew's renowned cuisine. While I loved the quiet trails and serene surroundings, the absence of air conditioning might be challenging for some during warmer months.

The hospitality from Hiram made me feel right at home, though I did encounter a few issues with the cabin I initially stayed in that led to some discomfort. Overall, it was a lovely escape from the city, with opportunities for relaxation and adventure all around.

My stay at Fire Mountain Resort was quite the experience. The location offered amazing views of the surrounding mountains, though getting there involved navigating a tricky gravel road which was a bit daunting. I appreciated the personalized touches, like the gracious hospitality from Hiram and Matthew, but breakfast timing was a bit restrictive since it wasn't served until 9 a.m. Overall, it was an enjoyable getaway, but the lack of certain amenities like alcohol on site was a downside.

Secluded and tranquil, but the drive up the gravel road was challenging and it was a 20-minute trip to reach Highlands.
Dining

Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, but the limited serving time of 9 a.m. was a drawback for my schedule.
Facilities

The amenities were somewhat limited, especially with no liquor available, but the beautiful grounds offered a peaceful atmosphere.
